Certificates for Collection

Certificates can be collected from the Examinations Office (3F next to MPH). Current students - term time break or lunch time collection only. Former students - collect certificates in person if possible. Otherwise send a letter of authority with whoever comes to collect the certificates. Collection times 9am-3pm Mon-Fri (except Public Holidays). Visitors must sign in and out at 6F Reception.

Certificates are important documents which should be kept in a safe place. Replacement with a Certified Statement of Results takes a few weeks and is costly especially if you need them to secure a university place or your ideal job. Therefore, please take care of them after collection.

NOTE: We have many certificates never collected by former students. Contact the Examinations Officer to find out if we are holding any for you (debbie.kane@wis.edu.hk)

Lost Certificates

If you have lost your certificate(s), or require a further copy of your results, the Examination Boards can issue you with a Certifying Statement. A Certifying Statement will be accepted by universities and other institutions as proof of your examination results.

Bad Weather Procedures During Examinations:

In the event of bad weather please listen to public announcements and then check the front page of WIS CLC for the latest information on our examination sessions. The decision to postpone exams or start them later that day is made centrally by ESF after consultation with the HKEAA. The decision is then communicated to all ESF schools and the school websites are updated as soon as possible.

Please be aware that decisions made regarding exams may be different from those affecting the school as a whole and so it is essential that you keep checking the website for the most up-to-date information.  Postponed exams may be rescheduled over a weekend. Please do not telephone school as you may not get through.

For warnings before you leave home:

- BLACK RAINSTORM OR TYPHOON 8 AND ABOVEExams will be postponed. Check our website for announcements. -

- RED AND AMBER RAINSTORM WARNING Exams will go ahead as timetabled. Check our website before you leave home as there may be an exception depending on the circumstances.
