How to be part of the PTA Activities

There are many ways you can become involved.
Every year at the Annual General Meeting (held at the end of August) new parent representatives are elected. Simply put forward your name and the PTA will happily find a role for you.
 
The PTA Committee meets every 2 months and parents are welcome to attend as observers, or to raise issues to the Committee. If you wish to attend or to submit a question for the committee, please contact the PTA Chairperson, Richard Walker at rwalker@hku.hk

Volunteers are always wanted to help out on school or PTA events. If you do not wish to stand for election to the committee, you could put your name forward to help out. If you have a particular talent, the PTA will be glad to use it, but if all you have to give is time and enthusiasm then that will also be very welcomed!

And don't forget - it's all for the benefit of our own children.
The PTA exists only for those parents who have children at WIS and, of course, the PTA Committee is only possible if you are a PTA family member.
