Tang & Yuan Dynasty Day Celebrations

West Island School hosted Tang & Yuan’s Dynasty Day celebrations last week. A great day was put together by the student Dynasty Leadership team that rocked WIS!

It was a celebration of Dynasty spirit and a drive to showcase a commitment to the community partnerships. The celebrations raised over 25,000 HKD for Tang & Yuan’s associated charities – Bethune House & IBET (Integrated Brilliant Education Trust).

The theme was Halloween, with a green and purple dress down (non school-uniform). The celebrations included Halloween bake sale, Halloween photo booth, costume competitions, music performances in collaboration with the Inter-Dynasty ‘Star Search’, Trick or Treat activities and the Bethune House handmade jewellery sales.

A huge well done to our student leadership team who put up a wonderful afternoon of celebration and fundraising!!
