28th West Island School Scouts

The Scouts had a fantastic time at camp last weekend.  We were very lucky that we didn’t get hit by the storm – it started as soon as we got home!

We had 5 adult leaders, 45 Scouts and 3 Venture Scouts (Year 13). All the leaders were so helpful, supportive and worked so hard. The 3 Venture Scouts – Sean Seow, Hugh Lee-Paterson and Lucy Ross – really stepped up and showed great leadership skills to organise and run the activities and camp. These 3 have been Scouts since they were in Year 7 and have shown amazing commitment and responsibility – I am very proud of them. Also they showed to the younger Scouts time management skills needed to manage school work and Scouting. Great!
