Jing Ying Cross Country Results

On a very wet Wednesday, 9 December, the best of Hong Kong’s cross country runners competed at the open cross country Championships in Shing Mun. Each school in HK is allowed to enter a maximum number of 4 girls and 4 boys so the quality of competitors is extremely high-those selected should be thrilled.

WIS runners were exceptional with 6 of the 8 finishing in top ten. In the boys event James Tan finished 4th, closely followed by his brother Matthew Tan who placed 6th. Clayton Gibb placed 16th and Christian Drew came in 34th. The girls were on fire with Erin Brown storming home to take 1st place, Amy Tao took 3rd, while Jasmin Drew placed 4th and Shreya Rane came in 5th.
It was wonderful to see students reaping the rewards for all their hard work and commitment.
Congratulations to all the runners and thank you to all the WIS staff for their support.
