CIRCLE IN THE WATER – ARTS FESTIVAL: DAY 7

As the excitement of the holiday season is upon us, West Island School went into festive mode on the 7th day of the Circle in the Water Art’s Festival. Students were busy all over the school as the extravagant Christmas Market took place which featured a number of stocking fillers and gifts were available for purchase. WIS students put up stalls filled with baked goods too. The school was buzzing with excitement and the market re-opened in the afternoon for parents and guests to enjoy. All proceeds collected from the Christmas Market will be put towards the various service projects supported by West Island School.

Also during the day, various activities were being held. Students were seen busily decorating the public pianos while staff and students were found adding final touches to the art installation.

The day ended with a magical Christmas Concert – Winter Wonderland. After days of intense practice, the WIS choir and orchestra performed holiday favourites.

Our thanks to the students and staff for all their hard work. It was indeed a day of joy and merriment.
