28th WIS Scout Group – December 2015

Well done to the following Scouts (Year 7 to Year 11) and Venture Scouts (Year 12 and Year 13) for completing the hike on Sunday 13 December: Andre Ng,  Chor Wei Tang, Jeff Kim, Kenton Lai, Terry Lai, Isis Lee, Benjamin Tang, Dorothy Tang, Kein Phung, Edric Voon, Joe Shiba, Kieran Hopfner, Patsy Ng, Brandon Sung, Cindy Yang, Haydn Ching, Sebastian Chan, Aditya Mangla, Benley Ho and Lucy Ross

The Scouts went on a 10km hike from Beacon Hill to Shing Mun Dam on the MacLehose Trail as they annually volunteered to run the check-point at the top of Beacon Hill for HK100 Ultra Race (http://www.hk100-ultra.com/). In order for the Scouts to be able to support the runners, the Scouts hiked this race’s trail from check-point to check-point, so they would be able to advise the runners of the difficulties ahead on the trail.

They had a great time hiking and saw a lot of wild monkeys.
