Since launching in 2011, over 1000 schools and libraries in 15 countries have chosen Wheelers ePlatform as their eBook lending partner.

In January 2016, West Island School joined with Sha Tin College, Renaissance College and Discovery College to create a Wheelers ePlatform consortium, essentially quadrupling the amount of ebooks we have access to via the Wheelers ePlatform.

How can you find the WIS Wheelers ePlatform?

• Click on: Wisdom: Library: Wheelers ebooks.
• Click on the sign in button. Our subscription to Wheelers has been linked to our sign in for Wisdom so there is no need to remember a separate password.
• Follow the simple instructions to download the Wheelers app.
• Once the app has been successfully downloaded, locate the ‘library’ by typing in West Island School.
• Borrowing is simply a click of a button.
• Borrowing is for two weeks.
• Only one ebook can be borrowed at a time.
• A simple click of a button can return the ebook if you finish it early.

What devices are compatible?
You can use:
• Smartphones: iPhone and Android
• iPad

Please note: Amazon Kindle eReaders are generally not a compatible device for reading Wheelers eBooks although you can use Kindle Fire with the ePlatform app from Amazon.
Don’t forget: to access the books on the ePlatform, you must have Internet on the devices.
