WIS PTA: School Buses

As the number of students using the school bus service in May and June is reduced, there are a couple of changes to the following bus routes:

Bus 2/2A/2B Users
We will be reducing the number of buses to 2 – both buses will service Bus 2 & 2A routes. The buses will arrive within 5 minutes of each other. Please can all bus users ensure they are at the bus stop 10 minutes prior to the buses departing at 7.40 am.

Ferry Pier Buses – Route 7
We will be reducing the number of buses to 3 with staggered departure times at 7.35am / 7.40am / 7.45am. To ensure you get a seat on the bus students must be at the ferry pier by 7.35 latest. The PTA will not pay for taxis to Upper School students who fail to get on the last bus.

Year 11 & Year 13 students
Please be reminded that your school bus pass is not valid for May & June. However, if you wish to continue to use the bus service to come to and from school on exam days, or while you finish off your BTEC course you can come to the PTA Office, before you go off on leave, and purchase a block of temporary tickets for the relevant days. Students should also note, there are no buses on Tuesday, 3 May and Monday, 23 May as these are CPD days.
