28th West Island School Scouts Update

On May 4, the Scouts went on a hike to Ap Lei Pai, at the back of Lei Tung. It is such a beautiful trail and has great views. Although, it is quite a tough trail with rocky paths and steep hills, we had a great time hiking and spending some time on the beach. We found so much rubbish on the beach, so the Scouts picked up rubbish and helped to clean the trail. Well done to Scouts! Thank you very much to Mrs Tran and Mrs Tang for accompanying the Scouts on the hike.

On May 11, the Scouts had a great time making wooden cars with DT teachers, Mr Hopley, Mr Ross, Mr Rai and Joey. The Scouts will paint the cars next week and once all the cars are ready, we will have a race on our official Pinewood Derby cars track! Thank you very much to Mr Hopley, Mr Ross, Mr Rai and Joey for your help and spending time with the Scouts.
