Student in the Arts: Harmeet Bhatia

Harmeet Bhatia has played electric guitar since he was 12. He loves playing solo as well as in his band, Asyndeton. During the summer the band released an album of five songs on HK iTunes. Harmeet not only played guitar on the album but also write some of the songs. For three days the album topped the HK charts as the most popular new release album. For one hour is was more popular than Adele’s latest release! Check it out on iTunes.

Harmeet studies Standard Level music. He says “I really like studying music, because I get to listen to different music that I wouldn’t normally listen to. It opens up your musical perspective and helps you write songs and understand what you are playing and listening to.”

Harmeet hopes to pursue a career in music when he leaves school.
