Digital Leaders at Kennedy School
West Island school’s Digital Leaders are currently leading a technology transition programme with Kennedy school students. Each Friday afternoon the Digital Leaders go to Kennedy School and teach the Year 6 students how to keep themselves safe online at their new school.
They teach the students about the changes they will face and the importance of personal responsibility. On Friday 21 April, Digital Leaders presented workshops on Responses to Cyberbullying, Safer Searching, Family Media Agreements and Tech Curfews.
The following Friday the Digital Leaders presented a programme of presentation skills looking at Building a Good Slideshow and Presenting it well. The primary students will them build a presentation on Becoming a Good Digital Citizen this will be presented to their parents at the Induction Week Finale on Friday 18 August.
