Free ACT vs SAT diagnostic test at West Island School – Saturday 2 September 2017, 9am-12:30pm
Dear Year 9-12 Parents,
We’d like to draw your attention to the opportunity for your son/daughter to sit a free diagnostic test to help them understand their suitability for taking the SAT or ACT test. As you know, the SAT or ACT test is an important entry requirement for many universities in the USA. This year, we have invited Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions to run the test at West Island School and on a Saturday morning so as not to disrupt your child’s school week.
The diagnostic test, which is 3.5 hours long, will be suitable for US-bound students from Year 10 (2017-2018) upward. About three weeks after the test, Kaplan Test Prep will provide a free report to West Island School which will be returned to the student. Afterwards, you and your son/daughter can take up the opportunity of a free 20-minute consultation with a Kaplan representative at their offices between 18 September and 7 October. You will need to phone Kaplan Test Prep to make an appointment time.
We have invited Kaplan to give a presentation on Monday 12 June at 5:00 – 5:30pm to give you a more detailed idea of the test and how to interpret test results. In order to assist us in arranging the setup, please RSVP at beatrice.tsui@wis.edu.hk at your earliest convenience.
Please register for the test by 21 August at: http://goo.gl/forms/EDDB9Dvhta
With best wishes,
