School Laptop Now Available for Purchase by All Students
West Island School’s selected laptop for the academic year 2017-18 is now available for purchase by all students regardless of year group enrolled. The laptop was chosen after comprehensive testing and tender process overseen by the School Council. As well as being a high quality, modern, rugged and popular laptop the WIS laptop benefits from;

We are convinced that when you include the above features the WIS laptop is an excellent value for money machine that cannot be beaten on a like-for-like basis in the current market place.

To ensure that all software used on laptops at West Island School remains legally installed and operated we will continue to charge, through the school’s ePayment system, the annual WIS Software Fee. This fee is payable regardless of the model of laptop used. This fee is subject to the licence costs the school incurs from its software providers each year. The software is available for download by all WIS students regardless of platform choice. The school and ESF negotiates hard to secure the best deal possible. The fee for next year is HK$300.
