Roshan Relwani Places Third at HK Speech Festival
We are very pleased to announce that Roshan Relwani (Year 7) was awarded a 3rd place in 66th Hong Kong Speech Festival (Chinese poem category).
Hong Kong Speech Festival is the most influential and prestigious speech competition in Hong Kong, in terms of the number of schools attending and the standard of the language skills required. This festival attracts more than 100 local and international schools and the vast majority of students are Chinese speakers.
Roshan is the only non Chinese background student at studying the 1st language Chinese course at WIS. In the competition.
Roshan was the youngest student in his group and he beat many local students who are native Chinese speakers. This is an amazing achievement for Roshan, his family and the school. We are all very proud of him.
His success shows that you can achieve anything if you work hard enough.
Congratulations Roshan!
