WIS Digital Leaders Go To Kennedy for an X Factor final

On Wednesday morning, our Digital Leaders acted as X Factor style judges to the Kennedy Year 6 students.

WIS Year 9 and 10 Digital Leaders have been leading a transition unit on becoming a good digital citizen.  They have been teaching Year 6 students on navigating the Internet safely, being upstanding digital citizens showing the younger students how to act when they witness cyberbullying.

At the end of these lessons the Kennedy students created presentations which they shared with the rest of year explaining how they were going to manage once they transitioned to West Island School with it greater digital freedoms and inherent risks.

The Digital Leaders watched the presentations and gave feedback.
