“Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety” Screening at WIS
On Tuesday 24 April, WIS will be screening, “ANGST: RAISING AWARENESS AROUND ANXIETY”. Produced by leading independent online streaming platform, IndieFlix, the 56-minute film features candid interviews with children and young adults discussing their anxiety and its impact on their lives, along with a special interview with Michael Phelps, a mental health advocate and one of the greatest athletes of all-time. The documentary includes discussions with mental health experts about the causes of anxiety and its sociological effects, as well as help, resources and tools.
The IndieFlix original film is expected to reach more than three million people around the world, through 25,000 community and school screenings, and producers Scilla Andreen and Karin Gornick have one goal: to start a global conversation and raise awareness around anxiety.
