Arabian Nights Rehearsals in Full Swing
Our annual Circle in the Water production is underway and this year, students participating in Arabian Nights by Dominic Cooke have been actively recording their thought processes of rehearsing for such a production. Below are a few entries.

Arabian Nights rehearsals have been an unforgettable experience. Each week, we get the opportunity to express our creativity and experiment with a variety of ways to paint a memorable story for the audience, as well as making a cast full of new friends.
I have learnt so much from the rest of the cast and of course the directors. Even if you are not a drama student, it is so rewarding knowing that at the end of it all you are not just performing a play, you are providing an experience.
This years Circle in the Water production will be Arabian Nights by Dominic Cooke. It will be showcased on the 7 and 8 December 2016. The company of over 80 people are more than elated to exhibit their talents and perform after months of arduous work and preparation. Partaking in the annual production gives students across all year groups the unique opportunity to explore their creative abilities while stepping outside of their comfort zones and learning about the diversified aspects of the theatre and dance industry. This year, we will not only be showcasing our acting capabilities, but also our abilities to collaborate and compose a truly phenomenal piece of work on stage that will leave you in awe. With the new intriguing additions of shadow puppetry, dance, singing and a wide range of other theatre techniques we, as a company, will be portraying the very magical and enchanting moments that make up the Arabian life.
