Art Workshop with Leanne Claxton

On Thursday, students from Year 12 BTEC Art and Design and Year 10 GCSE Textiles were lucky to take part in a workshop by textiles artist Leanne Claxton.

Leanne is an artist and designer who works within both England and Hong Kong.

Students were guided through a textiles production process, using the heat press to design their own fabric prints. They were able to seek inspiration from Leanne’s wonderful scarves, paintings and pattern designs as well as to develop their own individual print.
