CAS Focus: Science Art Mural Team

Since January, a group of selected Year 12s (now Year 13s) designed and produced a series of science themed acrylic paintings on the 8th floor Science corridor.

It was a fantastic opportunity for a group of creative minds to work together as a team and create such big outcomes for everyone to see. This process took six months to create which included brainstorming ideas, creating a colour schemes and finally, the actual painting.

The opportunity of making this series allowed for the Arts and Science to be integrated together.

We learnt how to paint on different mediums and this allowed us to develop our painting techniques.

We want to thank Ms Strachan for guiding us along this and Ms Bemet for her advice with any art related problems along the way.
