Christmas Boxes for Namibia

Well done to all the Year 8 students who brought in a Christmas Shoe box for Africa last week. The response was overwhelming and a total of 136 boxes were collected.

The boxes were sent to The Home of Good Hope in Namibia on Saturday and will arrive there in a few weeks time.

The founder of the charity, Monica Imanga, has expressed her sincere thanks to West Island School and says, “The children will be so pleased with the donations you have made – thank you for your support and for brightening their Christmas’ this year!”
