ELF – The Musical is here!

WIS’s most awaited event, ELF – The Musical is here! Presented by Circle in the Water, the performance arm of the Creative Arts faculty at WIS, this year’s production filled with an amazing cast of over 200 students taking roles as actors, musicians, costume and set designers, is a true reflection of all that is community!

This year’s school musical will take place on two nights: Thursday 6 and Friday 7 December, from 7:00 pm onwards, at the 3/F WIS auditorium. Audience tickets are priced at $160 for adults and $100 for students. You do not need to order a ticket for your child if they are in the show.
And that’s not all! A pre-show entertainment has been planned for families from 6:00 pm -7:00 pm, that will include cookie decoration, arts & crafts stations and photo booths with a variety of exciting props to choose from, including our very own Santa! While you are enjoying the pre show entertainment guests can enjoy a meal for $50 (veg/non-veg) including a drink. Light refreshments will also be on sale (cash bar) before the show and during interval.
Year 7 Parents please note: Your son/daughter will take part in two performances: one daytime matinee show for Kennedy School students, and one evening show. Performances will take place in the WIS auditorium, Level 3. The details are as follows:
● Wed 5th December, 10:00 am: Matinee show to Kennedy School featuring all Y7 tutor groups
● Thurs 6th December, 7:00 pm: Evening show featuring students from tutor groups 7 Han, Ming and Qing
● Fri 7th December, 7:00 pm: Evening show featuring students from tutor groups 7 Song, Tang and Yuan
Based on a beloved holiday film, this hilarious fish-out-of-water comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity. A celebration of family, resilience, love and laughter the essence of all that we need to flourish as humans, this modern-day holiday classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner elf! After all, the best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear!!
Please note that we anticipate the show will sell out in a matter of few days so please be swift with your orders. The Gateway enotice form will close on Friday 23 November.
