WIS Equestrian Team at HKEFIC

On Friday March 4, the WIS lower division equestrian team, accompanied by Ms McAndrew and Ms Yetman, headed off to Lo Wu Saddle Club in Sheung Shui to compete in the 2016 Hong Kong Equestrian Federation Interschool Challenge (HKEFIC). It was a tough competition, and the team were against many talented riders from other schools. There were some great individual performances, with Marco Wilson placing first in jumping and sixth in dressage, and Rebecca Yetman placing second in jumping and fourth in dressage.

The team came first in Friday’s competition, and are currently in second place overall after KGV, with two heats to go. With the finals next month, the team is hoping gain a spot among the top four teams.
