Field Trip for GCSE Textiles Students

Last Thursday, Year 11 GCSE Textiles students took a trip to the fabric markets of Sham Shui Po and to Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). The aim was to familiarise students with the various fabric markets and give them the opportunity to purchase materials, buttons, zips and other accessories needed for their final projects.

Students then headed over to SCAD where they were given an extensive tour of the fashion department and also had the chance to talk to the fashion professor and current students. Our students were then invited to stay on and sit through the final rehearsal of the graduate fashion show.
