Great Wall expert William Lindesay visits WIS
Last week, WIS was honoured to have had a visit by William Lindesay, a prolific author and speaker, who is described by the World Monuments Fund as “the world’s leading advocate for the Great Wall’s protection”.
William was accompanied by his two sons, and had an interesting humanities talk with the WIS students on preserving the authenticity of the Great Wall. He also shared how he and his family travelled 15,000 km (9,320 miles) around the wall network, filming it from the air with a drone!
