Han & Ming Day – Round Up
This year’s Han & Ming Day was an ambitious and successful experiment from the Dynasty team. The team incorporated a large and unique variety of different activities for the students of the school to engage in, such as: the WIS Bake-Off, the blind date event, dance performances, creating a photo-booth and constructing a movie theatre.
The massive effort put in by the Dynasty leaders helped create a pleasant and enthusiastic atmosphere, which was seen as the majority of students were eager to participate in the events provided. The students demonstrated their Dynasty spirit by their participation in the events, especially in the WIS Bake-off, where their prowess in bakery was shown to the judges.
This day was not only a celebration of Dynasty spirit, but also exhibited the student-body’s altruistic spirit, as they, along with the Dynasty leaders, raised $23,125.40 HKD for the charities ‘Food Angels’ and ‘Crossroads’, which are the organizations that these two Dynasties support. Both charities deliver goods to those in need, with the aim to improve the lives of the disadvantaged.
All in all, this day was fantastic experience for the students and a good-send off for the current batch of Dynasty leaders. Who will be replaced shortly with the new Dynasty Team who have been recently elected. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible!
