Hayley Lai at Prudential Youth Rugby Tournament

On New Years Day, I participated in the annual Prudential Youth Rugby Tournament, playing with the U16 Dragons.

During this game which I co-captained, I managed to score 2 tries in the first half. The final score was 31-17 to the Dragons, and our team took home the Naylor Cup.

This was the highlight of my break, as not only did I receive the best and fairest award for the game, I also received the best and fairest Larry Abel Trophy. Each year this award is given to one person ever since 1994 in honour and memory of Larry Abel, who had a major impact on youth rugby.

This will be one of my most memorable achievements in Rugby.
