HKSSF Athletics Championships Division One – Day One
The WIS Athletics team wrapped up day one of Division 1 HKSSF Athletics with some very strong results. Sela Caldwell 08M1 finished off strong in the Girls C 1500m finals by coming in fourth. Jasmin Drew 10T2 closed off a very well-rounded final in the Girls B 1500m and won herself and WIS a silver medal. Finally, to round off some impressive results of the day, Erin Brown S3NM and Amy Tao Y3AC placed 1st and 3rd respectively in the Girls A 1500m finals. For Erin Rose Brown, this is a just another great result that illustrates her prowess in HKSSF athletics. She has been an athlete for WIS since she arrived in the school and has proudly represented WIS for many years in athletics and cross country. Day 2 and finals day will be the last time she represents WIS in athletics so we wish her all the best. Overall, it was a strong day for the three WIS girls teams. The Boys Teams also produced some notable performances – all results can be found at www.hkssf.org. We look forward to day 2 on February 27.
