Horizons Week 2019: Passport, Visas and Vaccinations for Overseas Trips
Dear Parent(s)/Guardian,
We are starting to collate passport and personal information needed by various airlines and authorities to continue with Horizons Week bookings.
I would ask that you upload your child’s Passport/Home Return Permit (for China trips only) and HKID on WISDOM.
Please note that your child’s current passport should be valid until 16 May 2020.

Visas:
Each country will have different visa requirements for different passport holders so please check well in advance of what your child’s visa requirements might be.
Please note: We solely rely on Parents/Guardians to inquire about their child’s visa requirements and will not be able to do any additional checks. Please can you ensure that you check well in advance and organise your child’s visa for their trip in time for Horizons Week 2019.
Vaccinations:
Not all vaccinations are mandatory to visit different locations; some are precautionary only. It is a good idea to check with your local health practitioner or with the World Health Organisation as to what is required.
Your trip leader will provide you with a fully comprehensive list, but again, I would like to stress it is up to each individual family to decide what vaccinations your child might need.
Medical Records & Emergency Contact Updates on Gateway:
Can I please ask that you check your child’s medical details on Gateway and update them if necessary.
This is especially important if your child has recently become allergic to something or has started taking medicine for something since they were last updated.

Please upload the passport copy and update the medical information by 31 May 2019.
