Paige Smal – ID Student

For my subjects, I decided to pick Business Major and Sport Science Minor. I have really enjoyed these subjects. The course has allowed me to develop new skills and additionally, has given me a greater understanding about what could happen to me in the future with regards to my career.

I have had to develop many skills including sticking to and managing deadlines. The BTEC course is continually assessed with coursework and this is a very important skill to learn for the future. I also need to be organised and cope effectively with work pressure.

ID was the best decision for me as it is a more practical form of learning and includes role play, posters, videos and business plans.

I like the small group learning concept because it is focused and tailored to the way we learn. I also enjoy it because of the subjects and teachers, who have helped throughout the course. You are able to learn fun and interesting information which you will actually use in the future.
