Inter-Dynasty Table-Tennis 2017

West Island School saw it’s very first Inter-Dynasty Table Tennis Championships this week. The energy and enthusiasm surrounding the game is growing on a daily basis at the moment. The introduction of a table at lunch time on the third floor has seen masses of students enjoying the game, so much so that an Inter-Dynasty event was a must.

With each Dynasty represented in Years 7-10, the 3-day tournament took the form of two preliminary rounds, with Dynasties trying to earn as many points as possible in the build up to the finals on the third day.

The energy was electric and and the standard of play exemplary. This year’s worthy winners were Qing. They were fantastic throughout the three -day tournament, holding their nerve in the finals.

A fantastic event coordinated by Mr Head and Justin Lee.
