Maintaining a Healthy Relationship in the Midst of Parenting Challenges
Special Needs Network Hong Kong (SNNHK) together with Adoptive Families of Hong Kong (AFHK) have organised an informative and engaging evening event for parents on Thursday 15 November, to discover the resources available to keep a healthy and thriving partnership, while raising children with developmental disabilities. Dr. Erica Liu Wollin, a Registered Clinical Psychologist (HK) and a Licensed Psychologist (US), will be leading this workshop. She has walked this journey both personally as well as professionally, and will share through her own experiences. This talk is appropriate for: adoptive and foster parents, parents of children with special needs, trauma psychiatric or behavioral issues and.or parents considering adding to their family through birth, adoption or foster care. Professionals including social workers, mental health professionals, educators and any other supporting families are also welcome.
