March 2: World Book Day at WIS

This year, West Island will celebrate World Book Day which takes place on Thursday 2 March.

Students from Years 7 to 13 are invited to take park in Dress-up day; coming to school as their favorite literary character. Staff will also be dressing up so there are sure to be a host of creative and fun costumes.

In registration that morning all tutor groups will be hosting a book exchange; students are encouraged to bring in a pre-loved book to swap with someone else.

A host of activities are going on during the day so students are reminded to check the bulletin all week.
