Marisha Bisht wins ESF Xmas card design competition

Congratulations to WIS Year 8 student Marisha Bisht on winning the ESF Christmas card design competition! Her design was chosen from 80 entries from different ESF schools.

For her design, Marisha combined a lino block print of the robin with some hand drawn lettering accompanied by ink washes. 

During Horizons Week, the Year 8 students had the opportunity to participate in an art workshop. It was a fantastic experience as they explored the design and hand printing of Christmas cards and wrapping paper. The students not only had the pleasure of creating their designs, but also sell them as sets of cards and wrapping paper at the WIS Christmas Fair this week! All proceeds went to the Crossroads Charity.
