Olympic Coach at WIS on Tuesday 14 May

It has been a good start to Term 3 for the WIS Swimmers.  There were Inter Dynasty Mini Swim Gala’s for years 7-10 and an excellent ID Biathlon.

Attendance at training has been good as preparation for upcoming competitions is now the focus.

Next week WIS has secured the service of a high level coach, Edward Borja
Edward is a former National Swimming Coach and was involved in the Olympic Games in 1988, Seoul and 1992, Atlanta.

He was Head coach for the Philippine National Team for ASEAN Age Group Swimming Championships in 1989, 1991 and 1993 and is now in Hong Kong. Edward will lead the swim session on Tuesday 14 May, Tuesday from 6:55 -8am.

This is an excellent opportunity for all WIS swimmers, everyone is welcome, don’t be late, see you at the Deep End.
