Oriane Guillot at Fina Swimming World Cup

Well done to Oriane Guillot who made the team list to swim at the Hong Kong leg of the FINA Swimming World Cup 2017 last weekend in the 800 free and 400 free events.

Despite spending the week before her races with a chest cold and at the Youth Leader training camp, Oraine swam a personal best in her 800 free race winning her heat by an 8 second margin and finishing 7th overall.

For the 400 free on the Sunday she swam a 3 second personal best in the morning heats and qualified for the finals. Although disappointed with her performance in the finals she had a terrific weekend mingling amongst a great turnout of Olympic and International team swimmers and it was a tremendous experience for her.

Well done to Oriane on a superb achievement!
