Principal’s Message

Dear Parents, Staff, Students and Friends of WIS,

This week we had a number of experiential trips to aid learning outside the classroom. The Year 12 were on an Economics trip and clearly enjoyed the experience academically. We also saw our AYP contingent leave for the hills on Thursday in glorious sunshine!

I enjoyed a week of observing lessons including a GCSE Dance lesson and a Year 7 food lesson where I worked with a student to create a pizza, which formed my dinner that evening. It is a particularly rewarding part of my job that I am able to witness student learning and progression in action.
