Principal’s Message

Dear Parents, Staff, Students and Friends of WIS,

Over the last fortnight we have been producing a shorter weekly news reel to give space to our key community partners. Today, delighted to share news about our service with both SRDC and Crossroads – partners who impact on our local community and reach out globally to assist others. Please take a moment to read about their goals and how our students contribute.

Well done to Haydn Ching who participated in the Hong Kong Karting Championship (HKKC) and the Asia Karting Open Championship (AKOC) during the Easter break. He recorded his personal best and missed being the winner a mere 0.037 seconds. Overall, Haydn came home with being the runner up in the HKKC championship and 4th runner up on AKOC. A great achievement.

If you are looking for a moment to start planning an end of school year celebration, WIS PTA are organising our first 80s disco. A world-wide feast of music including the Thompson Twins, The Police, Bonnie Tyler and the heavies from the heyday of Hong Kong Cantopop. Tickets available from the PTA office.
