Sarah Brennan’s Visit to WIS

Popular author to books including Tale of Run Run Rat and A Dirty Story, Sarah Brennan paid Year 7 students a visit last week. The author ran a workshop which included her interesting journey from Australia to Hong Kong and how she became a well-known publisher and writer. She explained the processing of creating characters, writing a book and finally, details of how to get books published. Brennan also bought along samples of sketches, manuscripts and dummy books for the students to take a look at.

Students walked away inspired by the possible prospect of a career in publishing.
