Scouts at HK Trailwalker Race
On Sunday 20 March, the WIS Scouts hiked and ran 25km and 50km on Hong Kong Trail at Trailwalker Race organised by Hong Kong Scout Association. All the Scouts and Venture Scouts did a great job completing the race.
The scouts who participated is as follows:
50km (Race started at 6am from Big Wave Bay) – Entire Hong Kong Trail
Team 1 : Jon Cheah, Brandon Sung, Timmy Sham, Will Watson (Completed in 11 hours 7mins)
Team 2: Lucy Ross, Hugh Lee-Paterson, Jeff Kim, Kenrick Yap (Completed in 8 hours and 12mins) – came in 5th
Team 3 : (Our assistant Scout leaders) Hong, Alfred, Midori, Ian (Completed in 10 hours 43mins)
25km (Race started at 10am at Black Link Road) – Half of Hong Kong Trail
Team 1 : Nitish Aswani, Kai Lambon, Jason Yip, Raul Harjani (Completed in 4 hours 5mins) – came in 4th
Team 2 : Lachlan Tran, Kieran Childs, Kailan Sharpless, Andre Ng (Completed in 4 hours and 4 mins) – came in 3rd
Team 3 : Patsy Ng, Merilyn Wong, Alex Huml, Cindy Yang (Competed in 3 hours 33mins) – came in 1st
Team 4 : James Hu, Max Cheah, Kieran Hopfner, Edric Voon (Completed in 4 hours 56min)
Congratulations to both the teams who worked hard and displayed great team work as they completed the hikes. They displayed grit, demonstrated ideal cooperation and teamwork.
