Scouts Camp Round Up
The Scouts had a great time last weekend on camp. We had hot sun and heavy rain, but lots of fun too.
On Saturday, we started hiking from the end of Wilson Trail section 10 (near the border), and then along Pat Sin Leng Nature Trail to Bride’s Pool to cool off. We hiked about 10km. Then we went to the campsite, pitched our tents, cooked dinner, took a short night hike, and enjoyed a campfire singalong!
On Sunday, we woke up about 6.30am. Then cooked breakfast, made a packed lunch, did orienteering in the warm heavy rain, played a wide game, and had a fun water fight with catapults, sponges and balloons of water! We then cleaned the campsite, and tidied and packed up all the tents.
Thanks to all our leaders – Rose, Alfred, Hong, Midori, Cindie, and Mr More who all came to the camp for their hard work and time!
Well done to Jon (Cheah) and Jeff (Kim), our SPL’s (Senior Patrol Leaders) in Year 13, who did a great job running activities, helping the younger Scouts and teaching them many Scouting skills. Our leaders are all proud of your efforts, Jon and Jeff!
