Special Mention: Dylan Richards

West Island is excited to announce yet another grand success. Year 8 student Dylan Richards and his sailing partner gained second place overall in the 29ers Class in the 4-Day 2016 Hong Kong Race Week.

As one of the youngest 29ers sailors in Hong Kong, the two boys have been putting in their best effort physically and mentally throughout the entire regatta. Placing second place overall and making on the podium with some of the world class fellow sailors, they have gained tremendous confidence boost and skill improvement in this event.

Congratulations to both the boys on a fantastic sailing achievement!
