Special Mention: Nicholas Yu

Over the summer, Year 8 student, Nicholas Yu, signed up to auditition for the Gifted Young Dancer Program (GYPD) by The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (APA). Despite being only 12, Nicholas was accepted into the program and will now receive weekly training at the APA.

Additionally, Nicholas will next be seen as Benji in Priscilla Queen of the Desert which will open at the end of September. He will be performing on the following nights:1 Oct – Matinee

21 Oct – Night

Nicholas was also accepted as a  preliminary member of the HKAGE and is now working towards obtaining a full membership.

Finally, you can catch Nicholas from Friday to Sunday this week at the HK Cultural Centre where he will be taking part in the HK Ballet’s latest production, Don Quixote.
