West Island are fortunate to have a Holocaust Survivor, Mr Gelber visit the school on Monday 16 January. He will be talking about his experiences and taking questions from our Year 8 and 9 Students. Such an occasion is rare and we are fortunate to be able to hear about this incredible period from one of the survivors first hand.

Should you be interested in hearing Mr Gelber’s accounts, he is also holding a talk on 23 January at 7pm in Sai Ying Pun, as part of the Holocaust Memorial Day.
