WIS at Eastern Dragon Taekwondo Poomsae Championships 2016

Four Year 7 students took part in the Eastern Dragon Taekwondo Poomsae Championships 2016 on May 1. This is the first time students have represented the school in a taekwondo tournament all we are ecstatic to announce that all WIS participants performed superbly. In the Individual Poomsae, Phi Phung (7T1) placed second while Anna Wu (7Q2) placed fourth. In the Poomsae Pair rounds, Olivia Yau (7Q1) and Kylie Chan (7Q1) placed fourth.

We must acknowledge and recognise Johnny Wong, who arranged this participation and looked after the students at the competition. He has also been instructing these students since August during a taekwondo activity at WIS on Friday afternoons. Thank you to Mr Wong for all his support.
