WIS at HKSSF Indoor Rowing Competition

West Island School sent six students to compete in the HKSSF Indoor Rowing Competition last Friday and Saturday, and we are pleased to announce that the results were fantastic.

Katie De Vos won the Girls A Grade 2000M, she smashed records by 7 seconds, while first timer at the event Kalem Phillips won a silver medal in Boys A Grade 500M and was a mere 1 second off the record. Also congratulations to Anthony Aldcroft who came 9th out 97 in Boys C Grade 500M, Alessandro Systerman – 9th out of 87 in Boys B Grade 1000M, Louie Tait – 20th out of 44 in Boys A Grade 2000M and Harmeet Bhatia – 18th out of 114 in Boys B Grade 500M.
