WIS Cricket team starts the season with a win!

The WIS Junior cricket team had their first win of the season with a match against DMS – Broadway on Thursday 6 December, at the Hong Kong Secondary Schools League (Junior) tournament.

The WIS team lost the toss and were sent in to bat first where solid performances from the top order gave the team a score of 182 runs for the loss of 2 wickets at the end of the 20-over game. Manu Mishra scored a 50 and ended his innings with 80 runs on the board. 

An exceptional bowling from WIS team restricted the opposition from scoring high, keeping it to only 65 runs at the end of their 20 overs.
