WIS Environmental Week – March 28 – 30
WIS Environmental week is back and bigger and better! Take your part in saving our rain forests by participating in new and exciting events during lunchtimes throughout the week.
On Tuesday 28 March, we start off with baking for a better tomorrow, a bake sale filled with tasty homemade treats. Also, come along to watch your favourite teachers participate in the ‘Who wants to be an environmentalnaire?’ quiz in the Multi-Purpose Hall!
We’re keeping up the momentum on Wednesday 29 March by playing an interesting documentary about the impact of plastics on our oceans.
On Thursday 30 March, we’re privileged to have special guest Jo Wilson give a talk concerning the marine trash and polluted beaches in Hong Kong, so be sure not to miss this unique opportunity! All the funds raised from the environmental week will be going to Masarang and their mission to preserve our rain forests!
We encourage all students to get involved in the week and do their part to help protect our rain forests.
