WIS Rugby Teams Finish Season in Style

A huge congratulations to both the Boys and Girls A Grade rugby teams, a fantastic way to finish off what has been a great season for both teams.

WIS girls have never reached the finals before. The fact that the core team achieved this by not only being the youngest team (with no Year 13s and just 2-3 Year 12s) is a huge achievement and shows just how much quality and tremendous character that some players have shown. The A Grade girls made it to the final and after a close game eventually lost out to KGV in the final of the girls competition.

The A Grade Boys rugby finished off what has been a tremendous season, especially after the heartbreak of last week. A fantastic semi-final win over Kellett in the HKSSF School’s 7s competition, and an even better victory over SIS in the final means that West Island School are now the current HKSSF Schools 7s champions.
