WIS Students at HK Geography Bee Competition
On Thursday 7 March, seven of WIS brightest Year 9 Geography students travelled up to Harrow International School to take part in the first ever Hong Kong Geography Bee competition. Although similar to the well established History Bee, this was not team based but individual question rounds.
Neil D’Cunha, Jeffery Han, Krish Khemaney, Vikarn Rajora, Colin Singson, Ella Leonard and Marla Hulac, did amazingly well in each of the tough, nerve-racking rounds.
Matched against a big turnout of Harrow students, WIS managed to get three students into the final, with Jeffery Han achieving overall 3rd place, narrowly missing out on a 2nd place finish.
Well done to the team and congratulations on a fantastic achievement!
